The team of Matthew Ellerton and Simon Zahra have sent promising 3yo filly Miss Holyfield to Ararat on Monday in an effort to notch up her second career win.
The daughter of God’s Own wasn’t the best away when she resumed in a hot form race at Moonee Valley where she failed to run on and finished 9th beaten just under 6 lengths.
In her previous preparation she ran 4th to Celebrity Girl and a close up 3rd behind Sport Chic and the talented Kneeling at Caulfield in a strong race.
In a moderate 0-62 affair, Miss Holyfield should get the prize with her main dangers being Vonharp from the Jim Mason stable and the lightly raced Monte Bella with Mick price.
Damian Lane rides Miss Holyfield and comes into gate four with the early scratching and should find a nice spot in midfield and be far too strong at the finish.
Later on in the program Barbara Marshman has the consistent Intangible Force aiming to go one better after he was never closer the 3 and 4 wide the trip last time out at Hamilton. Fighting on doggedly to finish 2nd in an impressive performance, he is in another 0-58 grade race here and once again finds himself with 59kg but should he find himself one off the fence he will be mighty hard to hold out.
